Hello

I will try to explain to you, how evertything works today. Its true that Volvo does not store the spareparts to Pv, Amazon and P1800 any longer. Nowadays everything handles by a private business, GCP (Genuine Classic Parts). This business was made up without listening to the Swedish Volvo-clubs, which were very doubtful to the whole thing. When Volvo itself was in charge, the spareparts for the eldery Volvos had subventioned prices. Unfortunately the prices went up, sometimes with over 100%, when GCP took over. However, to get hold of spareparts today you still contact your Volvo-dealer.

Several meetings have been hold with GCP, Volvo and the Swedish clubs this autumn. New meetings are planned for the winter as well, to try to solve everything out for the benefit of all the Volvo-enthusiasts, both when it comes to prices, availability and so on.

This is all for now. I hope this give you some answers to your questions. One thing you can be really sure of is that we don't give up. All the Swedish Volvo-clubs, with over 10 000 members, will work together to get the best solution for everybody.

I will try to let you know how everything is proceeding in the future. Regards
