This month's Third Wednesday Porsche Club Tech Session is show below. As always, SDVSA is invited to take advantage of it!

The Following Article Appeared in "PV-Entusiasten," [Number 2, 1990] the newsletter for the Swedish 444/544 and P1900 Club.

These pictures we found in Volvo's historical archives in Göteborg.  They were taken in California and submitted by a Swedish employee at Volvo's dealership in Berkeley.

According to the accompanying letter the car is a Volvo Special, built on a Volvo Sport (P1900) frame. It has an 85 hp motor, five-speed Italian gearbox and a fiberglass body made by Devin. Top speed is given as 125 mph. Instrumentation and controls seem to come from a P1900, but otherwise most parts appear specially made.

If this vehicle was built from a production P1900 or on a surplus frame is not revealed. Who knows?
