7th ANNUAL WESTSIDE VOLVO MEET

It was another very successful event organized by Bill Webb his wife and staff of the Western states Chapter of VSA. About 36 cars were entered for competition and many more came and visited the event throughout the day. Many trophies were awarded in all classes.

The day was also filled with raffle prize giveaways provided by a number of donors, particularly Westside Volvo who hosted the event. Almost everyone went home with a prize. I got very lucky and won 4 quarts of Castrol oil, a gallon of windshield washer fluid and a beautiful soft drink cooler bag with a shoulder strap.

Then halfway through the event all of the contestants were provided with a catered lunch which included salad, rice, beans, tortillas and more charbroiled chicken than we all could eat.

It was a great event that provided networking opportunities and resourcing that would take years to obtain. Thanks to Bill and his Volvoteers. The meet brought out the best in the Western states VSA!
